Douglas County Courthouse Information

Douglas County, Georgia is located just west of Atlanta and has grown into one of the larger suburban communities in the metro area. The county is known for its convenient access to Interstate 20, strong residential growth, and mix of established neighborhoods, local businesses, parks, and government services. Douglasville, the county seat, serves as the center of much of the county's legal, business, and community activity.

The Douglas County courthouse and government complex handle many of the county's legal and public services, including criminal court, civil litigation, family law matters, probate proceedings, traffic-related cases, and jury service.
