Jamila Houston serves as a Pre-Litigation Paralegal at The Millar Law Firm, supporting clients at every stage of their case. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of West Georgia after graduating from Pasquotank County High School in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Before joining The Millar Law Firm, Jamila gained experience in both legal and client service roles. She spent two years as a Legal Assistant at John Foy & Associates, assisting personal injury clients, and also worked in marketing and customer service for Farmers Insurance. Her background includes leadership and management positions.
At The Millar Law Firm, Jamila finds it rewarding to see clients grow and improve under the firm’s guidance, and she values the camaraderie and teamwork she shares with her colleagues.
Outside of work, Jamila is passionate about health and fitness. She enjoys hiking, walking, and jogging, and works out regularly three to four times a week.
