Meet Antonio Stanfield Jr.
Attorney
Born and raised in Atlanta, Attorney Antonio Stanfield Jr. obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2015 from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law, located in Columbia, Missouri.
Antonio Stanfield, Jr. was raised in Atlanta, GA by hardworking parents who instilled in him and his younger brother, Mario, the values of honoring God, working hard, and achieving success. This foundation has been a guiding force throughout his life and legal career.
As a child, Antonio always knew he would be successful, but it wasn’t until he gave his life to Christ that he knew he wanted to become an attorney. Antonio then embarked on the rigorous process of applying to law school, and made the decision to attend the University of Missouri School of Law, where he was the recipient of the prestigious Michael T. Bramble Scholarship Award.
At “Mizzou,” Antonio discovered his passion for legal research and writing, as well as written and oral advocacy. His interest in litigation was further cemented by internships with the State Office of Prosecution Services during his first year of law school, and later with the United States Attorney’s Office during his second year. Antonio sharpened his litigation skills as a member of the University of Missouri Mock Trial Team. Competing in various regional competitions, Antonio gained valuable experience arguing cases from both the plaintiff’s and the defense’s perspective. During his third year of law school, Antonio gained additional experience working for a securities and compliance law firm, providing him with exposure to a transactional law firm environment. Each of these experiences solidified Antonio’s desire to become a litigator and spend much of his time in the courtroom.
Antonio’s hard work and dedication paid off upon graduation when he was honored with the Order of Barristers, an elite graduate honor bestowed upon only ten members of each graduating class who demonstrate outstanding written and oral advocacy skills throughout their law school careers.
Antonio brings a wealth of experience, legal knowledge, and understanding of Georgia personal injury law to The Millar Law Firm. As a trial attorney, he enjoys the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.
Antonio lives in the Fayetteville, GA area with his wife Shanique, and their two sons, Samuel and Timothy. He loves to read, travel, and spend time with family. Antonio is also very active in his church, Resurrection House for All Nations. He serves on a number of different ministries including the Music Ministry, in which he plays the saxophone.
